This project is an examination of Ireland’s musical culture, focusing on traditional methods, contemporary activities, and the interaction between the two. Our group spoke with buskers on the street and traditional musicians in Galway and at the annual Willie Clancy Irish music festival in Miltown Malbay. We hope to shed greater light on the struggles and triumphs of the modern Irish musical scene and help expose our communities back home to its beauty and spirit.
